Students at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy finished their performances at the Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship in Moscow.

After the end of the tournament, Russia’s Honored coach Alla Mishenina spoke about Karolina Tarasova’s preparation for the competition.

"The first competition that Karolina and I went through together, and right away they were serious, the grown-up Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics championship. We had a month to prepare. The month was difficult, because the Russian program has more elements and  objects, so there was a lot of work to be done. The program was done over more than once," Alla said.

Karolina shared her impressions of working together with Alla Mishenina.

"I liked it, I really like working with Alla. The approach, of course, is different for all coaches. It was hard at first, but then I got used to it and it’s fine," Karolina said.

The gymnast also talked about what she learned at these competitions.

"When something doesn’t work out, don’t cry, don’t get upset, but still continue to do it and don’t show that it’s hard for you," she said.

All also added that "it is necessary to strengthen your personality. And we need to perform more! Lack of competitive experience."

Karolina spoke about what she experienced while performing on the same floor as the famous gymnasts.

"It was very scary, difficult. I was very afraid to perform with adult gymnasts. They, of course, have more experience," she said.
