"This way, we work as a united, friendly team." Coach Kamila Khubeeva talks about the training camp for children from Kazan

Coach Kamila Khubeeva spoke about the program of classes the сhildren with special needs from Kazan at the Academy:

"Our training always begins with a warm-up. It's an integral part of our training. Our warm-up includes flexibility exercises. We also focus on strengthening the girls' core muscles and developing coordination through exercises with apparatuses. Accordingly, the second part of the training involves working with apparatuses, which is the girls' favorite part. And perhaps the unique feature of our training is that we train alongside normotypical children. Our children with special needs learn to work in a team. This helps them socialize. To some extent, they are motivated to continue training and train harder. Consequently, our normotypical children also learn empathy, teamwork, and listening to and hearing each other. In this way, we work as a united, friendly team."

She shared her impressions of the master class by Yana Zaikina from Volgograd and Ksenia Savinova from Gatchina:

"Yana and Ksenia showed us new exercises that we'll be using in our classes. Ribbon exercises: spirals behind the back, behind the head. The girls really enjoyed the classes. They became even more motivated. They quickly mastered these exercises. Thank you, girls, for the master class."

The specialist also thanked the Academy and Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva for the opportunity to train in Sirius:

"Overall, the Academy offers wonderful conditions for both recreation and training. We have the wonderful opportunity to train in such a beautiful hall, sharing the floor with award-winning gymnasts. This motivates the kids even more; their eyes sparkle even more. And the gymnasts' sparkling eyes are even more motivating for me as a coach. We thank the Academy and Alina Maratovna for the opportunity to train in such wonderful conditions."

The Academy covered all of the expenses for the training camp for the children from Kazan.
