Judge Elena Bogatova spoke about the peculiarities of the Russian championship in Kazan

Russian Championship judge Elena Bogatova shared her impressions of the tournament in Kazan:
"These are the most serious, most responsible, most important competitions, in my opinion, for junior and junior children. And very responsible. And they follow the new FIG rules. They are radically different from the previous ones. Expressiveness is necessary, excellent work of the subject is necessary. And it's very obvious that little girls in the first sports category are still at the very beginning of their journey."
The specialist also singled out gymnasts whose performances she remembered.
"Of course, the children who stand out are better prepared, stronger in terms of subject, body, and range. It's very interesting to watch, but I was more impressed by the girls performing in the Master of Sports candidate program. These are the years of birth 2010, 2011, 2012. I really liked them, especially since I judged the complexity of the subject, and I really liked Sofia Lantsova. I really liked Sofia Ilteryakova, especially in a hoop, she looks completely different. Karolina Tarasova worked very powerfully, beautifully, and in an adult way. So, you know, these are the rules, they require great expressiveness, unity. And when a child performs in a way that holds your attention, it's very important."
