The coach of the Zhemchuzhina Rhythmic Gymnastics Center team, Ksenia Timoshina, spoke about the victory at the Spartakiad ahead of the BRICS Games, where the gymnasts will compete with the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association team.
"We just competed in the finals of the Student Spartakiad, where the girls took first place. We’re going home with a victory and there will be very little time left to prepare for the most important tournament for us. It is a great honor for us that Alina Kabaeva invited us to major competitions like this," Ksenia said.
She shared how she is preparing for the upcoming competitions.
"Now we will do a little work on the mistakes, correct some shortcomings that both the judges and other coaches suggested to us. We will strive to become better and better! The girls have a goal-oriented attitude. Let’s work, see you at the BRICS Games," the coach said.
Rhythmic gymnastics competitions as part of the BRICS Games will begin in Kazan on June 18.
