Sofia Lantsova shares her impressions after the third stage of the Cup of the Strongest

The third stage of the Cup of the Strongest was the first competition for Sofia Lantsova since her injury.
After the competition, the gymnast talked about her recovery process and her routines:
"I missed this. I couldn't wait to get out there, perform, and soak up the atmosphere. The competition is very tough, the girls are all very strong. The competition went pretty well overall. I did quite well on the hoop and clubs, decently, without any major mistakes. In the ball, well, the ball didn't quite fold, and the ribbon was a bit off. I'm still recovering, and now we're going to make the routine even more challenging so I can perform even better and achieve great results."
The athlete also shared how she worked on her artistic expression:
"My ribbon is to Edith Piaf. I watched movies about her, about her story. Coaches and choreographers told me about her. I really immersed myself in her character, her life. Hoop to Swan Lake. I went to see Swan Lake at the Bolshoi Theater. That really helped me, too. Vera Arbuzova also helped me a lot. She's a former ballerina. And during Swan Lake, she cleaned out all these hands with me, showing how to do it all correctly. That really helped me, too. My ball is fun and energetic. It just comes from within me. I really like it. My clubs are just classical music."
At the tournament, Sofia placed fifth in the all-around junior women's program.
