Russian national team took first place in the medal count at the European Judo Championships in Montenegro

The Russian judo team took first place in the medal count at the European Championships in Montenegro.
The athletes won seven medals (three gold, three silver, one bronze) and also came in third in the team competition on the final day of the tournament.
Inal Tasoev became the champion among men in the over 100 kg category, and Valery Endovitsky won the silver medal.
Ayub Bliev came in second in the up to 60 kg category, Murad Chopanov won silver among men in the up to 66 kg category, Daniil Lavrentyev won the gold medal in the up to 73 kg category, and Timur Arbuzov became the champion among athletes in the up to 81 kg category.
Among women in the over 78 kg category, the bronze medal was won by Elis Startseva.
The athletes prepared for the European Championship at the Martial Arts Academy in Sirius.
