"You can do beautiful gymnastics with these rules!" Larisa Romanchuk talks about the Sky Grace
Coach and International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association judge Larisa Romanchuk came with her students to the Academy training camp at the Academy for the second time. She shared details of the training process.
"We have been coming here for the second year, last summer we came for the first time. But we really liked it here, and we left with the thought that we would definitely return. We succeeded, we succeeded. We arrived, probably like most girls, after the holidays. We are slowly getting into shape. We are busy adjusting personal programs that we didn’t have time for before the holidays, finishing them up, putting together some productions. Well, the plans are preparation for the upcoming season," Larisa said.
Larisa noted the advantages of the Sky Grace rules.
"With these rules you can do beautiful exercises, beautiful gymnastics. There is object work, body work, and dance tracks. There is enough time and music for all this," she explained.
She also talked about how judging experience helps in working with young gymnasts.
"When you look at the coach leading the gymnast, it’s one thing. When you sit at the judge’s table and evaluate as a judge, you see a slightly different picture, you understand how it is evaluated, how the judges see it, and this directly shows a lot," she said.
