The head coach of the Academy of the Firsts training camp, Marina Protasova, spoke about the features of the training program.
"My training camps probably differ by my endeavor to bring each child to the peak of her opportunities and by my attempt to show that she can do better, she can do more. I try to inspire every child that there is nothing that’s impossible. I understand that not everyone would be the champion but the skill of becoming better every day, the skill of enduring, the skill of achieving a certain goal, probably it is more important for me now than doing that children become champions," Marina said.
She also mentioned how the tasks are handed out at the training camp.
"We have six groups, there are slightly more than 15 people in each group. And six coaches are working, a choreographer, dance training, apparatus training, physical education, and I conduct stretching. Each coach is responsible for his or her piece of work," the coach said.
And young athletes Sofia Chernyakova and Adelina Zima shared their impressions of the training.
"The coaches are very kind and good here. We saw a famous coach, Marina Anatolyevna. She is a very skillful coach, she explains everything in great detail," she said.
The Academy of the Firsts training camp is taking place at the Academy on July 1-6.
