Games of Countries Director Eldar Sayfutdinov talks about Academy students’ showcase performance

The director of the international Games of Countries tournament Eldar Sayfutdinov spoke about the details of staging a showcase performance for the competition, with gymnasts from the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.

"The performance that we put on as a finale, as a gift at the end of our event, shows the best artistic side of our gymnasts. Because, despite the fact that it is a sport, this is the most beautiful sport. And this sport develops femininity, fluidity of movement and music appreciation. And my task was to help the girls open up as much as possible to the most beautiful music".

Eldar also emphasized the importance of the fact that the tournament has a wide geography and many gymnasts from different countries came to it.

"This competition is about more than just sport. And so the slogan was born: Games of Countries - uniting the whole world," he said.

The international Games of Countries tournament takes place at the Academy, October 19-22.
