"It is nice to watch how rhythmic gymnastics develops in regions." Coach Marina Tsyurik talks about Sky Grace tournaments

Marina Tsyurik, the coach of the Athletic School 1 of the Petrogradsky District of St. Petersburg, shared her expectations from the tournament before the start of the Sky Grace Cup interregional competition:

"In all regions there are strong children, strong, beautiful athletes. It is very pleasant to watch, because rhythmic gymnastics is developing in the regions. We have already been here, in the Academy. Not long ago, there was a tournament among partner teams. We took third place and decided to try again, because we really liked it. In group exercises, the goal in any case is to perform cleanly, well and harmoniously, and try to get on the podium."

She highlighted strengths of her group exercise team:

"In group exercises, it’s coherence, a special style of staging. Our coach keeps a close eye on this and tries to stage it so that every movement is in tune with the music, every accent is emphasized, so that everything is done correctly and technically, and expressively, artistically."

The Sky Grace Cup interregional competitions among masters of sports and candidate masters of sports are being held from March 14 to 17.
