"The rules are aimed at developing our beautiful sport." Raisa Terekhina talks about the Games of Countries tournament

International category judge and head of the department of theory and practice of gymnastics at the Lesgaft National State University of Physical Education, Sports and Health, Raisa Terekhina was among the guests of the international Games of Countries tournament. 

"A very interesting tournament in a beautiful hall; excellent conditions, a splendid hall for workouts and a hall for competitions, and seats for the audience. The emotions are not merely positive, they are so joyful because we see such a number of beautiful children that will have a future. This is because they received culture, how to move, and how to behave in rhythmic gymnastics. They are receiving an education. And they are very elegant. At the same time, they are focused, concentrated, and very clever with our children. And if we have such children, our country will be in safe hands," Raisa said.

Raisa also explained how the rules of the Sky Grace International Clubs Association change rhythmic gymnastics.

2As we watch interesting compositions, it means criteria set out in these rules are the ones promising for rhythmic gymnastics. It means the path of rhythmic gymnastics is proper and the one, as it is said, promising and prognostic. Rules are aimed at perfecting, developing and popularizing our beautiful sport," the judge said. 

The international Games of Countries tournament according to the Sky Grace International Association of Clubs rules, was held at the Academy, October 19-22.
