Group team gymnasts from the capital's Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics won gold in the interregional Sky Grace Cup tournament in Moscow in the Master of Sports candidate program. The team includes Sofia Filistovich, Svetlana Pudovkina, Alexandra Kulakova, Ekaterina Nechaeva and Kira Gareeva.After the performance, the athletes explained what was special about their programs.&nbsp;<blockquote>"The tournament was very good, we liked it so much. Certainly, we had concerns but our coach psyched us up. Yes, and we manage to concentrate ourselves and perform well. We have clubs to the ‘Well, just you wait, rabbits.’ Our hoops are to the music from the ‘Formula of Love.’ This is also very picturesque. We are like circus performers. Our coach and stage director chose the music. And we started working with it, it was very interesting, because we understood that the program differed from the ones the others had. It was a special one. We practiced a lot, composed clean performances, practiced for 5-6 hours, and changed some things; we made some of them more difficult and simplified the other ones,"&nbsp;they said.</blockquote>

The Russian judo team took first place in the medal count at the European Championships in Montenegro.The athletes won seven medals (three gold, three silver, one bronze) and also came in third in the team competition on the final day of the tournament.Inal Tasoev became the champion among men in the over 100 kg category, and Valery Endovitsky won the silver medal.Ayub Bliev came in second in the up to 60 kg category, Murad Chopanov won silver among men in the up to 66 kg category, Daniil Lavrentyev won the gold medal in the up to 73 kg category, and Timur Arbuzov became the champion among athletes in the up to 81 kg category.Among women in the over 78 kg category, the bronze medal was won by Elis Startseva.&nbsp;The athletes prepared for the European Championship at the Martial Arts Academy in Sirius.
