"Very hardworking girls!" Academy coach Olesya Kovaleva talks about classes with preschoolers

After another lesson with preschoolers, Olesya Kovaleva, coach at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy noted the effort made by the young athletes.
"For the girls, the jump rope is a rather difficult type, because it is a coordination object. You need to do a lot of approaches and repetitions in order to, say, do a double rotation with the rope, or an entrance into the rope. But they are trying. Very hardworking girls. They are trying to master a new type of program," Olesya said.
The coach also told how the young gymnasts managed to adapt to the new conditions at the Academy.
"The girls have been training for over a week now. The adaptation period went well for them. They liked the conditions. They met the coach. Not to say that we’ve completely gotten used to each other, but they asked me who I am. I asked them who they are. So we met, and the meeting went well. Now we are conducting training in good conditions, in a pleasant, good-natured atmosphere," she added.
The additional education groups for preschoolers at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy started work in September.
