“We are always glad to be your guests!” Choreographer Kirill Barkan talks about the all-Russian Sky Grace Cup competition
Russian national team choreographer Kirill Barkan, together with national team gymnasts Nikole Rimarachin Diaz and Anastasia Vlasenko, came to the all-Russian Sky Grace Cup competition. He spoke about the features of the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association and the details of the training process.
“It’s interesting for us to perform every time, and we get a lot of enjoyment, of course, both at the performances themselves and in preparation for the next start, in fact, which we are present at now. We came with Nikole Rimarachin Diaz, with Nastya Vlasenko. And we had some time, a short amount of time to rebuild ourselves, to rebuild the gymnasts. Sky Grace highly values the elements of flexibility, which allows children to develop greater amplitude and show more flexibility due to the fact that according to the Alina Kabaeva’s rules, flexibility is assessed additionally, inflexibility is still rated at 0.1,” Kirill said.
The coach also shared his expectations from the tournament.
“We are very, very happy to be visiting you every time and to be in such a beautiful hall. We expect to enjoy the competition and would like to see, as every time at competitions, the result of the work that was done during the preparation period in the gym, in the training process,” he said.
The All-Russian Sky Grace Club rhythmic gymnastics competition, with the participation by Russian national team Nikole Rimarachin Diaz and Anastasia Vlasenko, are held at the Academy, April 10 to 14.
