"I am very glad that I was given this opportunity!" Angelina Ipatova talks about performing at international competitions in Moscow

Angelina Ipatova from St. Petersburg summed up the results of her performance at the Alina Kabaeva Grand Prix Champions Cup in Moscow.

"On the first day I performed the ball and hoop, I performed well. And on the second day I did ribbon and clubs, unfortunately, the turn in clubs did not work out, and in ribbon it was possible to do it cleaner on the apparatus. But I will fix all this, and at the next competition I will try to show my program even better," Angelina said.

The gymnast performed for the first time as part of the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association team.

"The International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association is a great responsibility. And I am very glad that I was given such this opportunity," the gymnast said.

The athlete also shared what advice Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva gave her.

"She watched two of my exercises, explained, suggested how to do this turn that I couldn’t do. And she said that I needed to complicate the program even more and work on it," she said.

Alina Kabaeva Grand Prix Champions Cup  was held from March 2 to 7 in Moscow.
