"There are so many talented children all over Russia." Marina Govorova talks about the Russian Junior Championship

At the Russian Junior Championships, Marina Govorova, Senior coach of the Russian national team spoke about the significance of this tournament for young gymnasts:
"The Russian Junior Championship is traditionally the main competition of the year for juniors, for the formation of the Russian junior team. Also, since this tournament is held at the beginning of the year, it is also the main criterion for selecting the strongest gymnasts for participation in international competitions, which we are actively participating in this year, and we sincerely hope and believe that our gymnasts will represent their skills with dignity. These aren't just international tournaments, but also European Cup stages and the European Championship. I think our girls are great, and I have great faith in them. I'm very pleased that our Russian school is very strong, and there are many strong schools in different cities across Russia. Of course, the Sky Grace gymnasts look amazing. There are so many talented children all over Russia. And I hope these children have a bright future."
The specialist also commented on the emergence of our athletes on the international stage. She appreciated Mariia Borisova's recent performance at the Marbella Grand Prix:
"I'm very pleased that our international history began this year with the Grand Prix in Marbella. It was a major international tournament, featuring many of the world's top gymnasts. And Masha represented it with great distinction. It was truly gratifying. Two medals, a wonderful result! And it's very important that Masha, having entered the international arena so brilliantly, interestingly, and beautifully, showcased the true school of rhythmic gymnastics. This truly is pure line, this is choreography, this is beautiful, high amplitude, and wonderful compositions. We sincerely hope that we will continue to develop and improve this, and preserve the school. And that it will represent itself with dignity on the international stage."
