Nicole Rimarachin Diaz and Kira Yablochnikova summed up their performance at the Spring Cup

Gymnasts Nicole Rimarachin Diaz and Kira Yablochnikova won five gold medals at the all-Russian Spring Cup competition, which took place from May 19 to May 22 in Krasnoyarsk.

In an interview, Nicole explained how she changed programs before the start:

“After the Russian championship, Tatyana Sergaeva told us to change three programs to have more artistry. They changed them for us, and now I'm trying out these three starts and doing a new program.”

Kira noted why she came to the tournament in her turn:

“To present myself, to show my programs. I have some new instances in the exercises. How will they be assessed; will they like it or not. And then work for the next tournaments.”

Nicole Rimarachin Diaz became the best in the all-around among gymnasts born in 2010 and in the ribbon final, and Kira Yablochnikova won gold in the candidate masters of sports program among athletes born in 2011 and became the champion with the hoop and clubs in conclusion of the tournament.
