"I don't want to leave!" Young gymnasts talk about the trade union training camp at the Academy

Young athletes share their emotions from the Trade Union physical culture and sports society training camp at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.

The gymnasts said that at the end of the training camp they didn’t want to go home. “It’s really cool here, the food is delicious. Very beautiful rooms and a hall with a platform” explained Evelina Polyakova from Lyubertsy.

Eva Kononova said that she came to Sochi from Tyumen all by herself, but she soon made new friends at the Academy. “Of course, at first, it was weird without friends. But then everything was fine, we made friends here with everyone. Everything was absolutely wonderful,” the athlete said.

The young gymnasts also emphasized that there were interesting activities for them in Sochi during their time off from the training. “I liked that, in addition to the training, there were outings, and a visit to the singing fountain. We also celebrated a great holiday - Victory Day. It is one of the most important holidays in our country. And I am really glad that we celebrated it together in such a big group with the entire trade union team,” said another gymnast from Lyubertsy Ksenia Grinko.

The trade union trading camp was held at the Sky Grace Academy in Sochi on May 2-10. Over 120 participants from 17 Russian cities were involved in the training process.
