"We’ve mastered new skills, risks and elements." Gymnast Ksenia Dashkevich talks about the Academy training camp

Ksenia Dashkevich is the only athlete from Nakhodka, Primorsky Region,  who came to the  Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy training camps. To get there, she had to take a 10-hour flight from Vladivostok to Sochi.

On the day of departure, the young gymnast shared her impressions of the training camp led by Irina Dzyuba and Marina Shpekht.

“Learned to do new skills, risks, catches. I learned how to do new elements.The hall has very high ceilings, it is convenient to take risks, and do high throws. The hall is bright, the mats are good. The hotel is bright and the beds are comfortable. I didn't want to get out of bed,” the gymnast said.

According to Ksenia, during the training camp she made friends with gymnasts from Novosibirsk, who also came to Sochi to gain experience and learn new things.

The training camp led by Irina Dziuba and Marina Shpekht was held from July 1-9.
