Natalia Usova from Uzbekistan shares her emotions about the result at the Alina Kabaeva Grand Prix Champions Cup

Natalia Usova from Uzbekistan became the bronze medalist of the Alina Kabaeva Grand Prix Champions Cup in the all-around. She shared her emotions about the result:

"I am definitely happy because I didn't set myself any goals to be on the podium. I had a goal to go through all four types evenly for myself, to check myself and prove to myself that I can. I went out with the emotions, that I needed to show the beauty, I needed to show what we had worked on with the coach.  My hoop routine is new. I play the role of a warrior there. My ball program is composed to the music of The Godfather famous series. Well, there, accordingly, everything is about this tragedy and these series. In the clubs, I have such fiery Spanish music, and I show a snake in the ribbon."

The gymnast noted her friendship with participants from other countries:

"Every time I come to competitions, we meet the girls with whom we have been friends for a very long time, and there is a feeling of support."

The athlete also recalled a meeting with Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva, who helped her add several interesting elements to the rope exercise:

"Alina Maratovna came to us to Uzbekistan in 2023. I remember this moment, I think, for the rest of my life. She came and showed me the skills with the rope, because then we were preparing for the Sky Grace and the rope was in the regulations. We inserted a couple of interesting things that Alina Maratovna showed."
