"Finally, the long-awaited medal!" Milena Shchenyatskaya talks about the Cup of the Strongest

In the finals of the Cup of the Strongest, Milena Shchenyatskaya won a silver medal in the all-around and a bronze medal in the exercise with the ball.
The gymnast shared her impressions of the tournament:
"The emotions are the nicest. I'm very happy that I was able to put in a solid performance at the Cup of the Strongest final. Finally, the long-awaited medal. I’m happy."
Milena talked about the details of staging her favorite ball program:
"It's my favorite ball routine. We couldn't choose the music for a long time. For some reason, we couldn't consistently perform, and we had to constantly look for something new. And then Irina Zenovka and I put together this routine, which I've been performing for quite a while now. It's a dance-like exercise. You could say it's feminine, very fluid. You know, I approach the ball more calmly than other events. Clubs, after all, is Spartak's style. I approach it more collectedly. I enjoy everything, but the ball the most."
The athlete told why she loves rhythmic gymnastics:
"I love rhythmic gymnastics for its elegance, for the fact that we gymnasts have such a strong character and willpower. Rhythmic gymnastics is the most beautiful sport, but also the most difficult. I love gymnastics because it's so versatile."
