"We performed with all our hearts." Academy group gymnasts on participation in the international Evgeniya Cup tournament

The Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy group gymnasts summed up the results of the international Evgeniya Cup tournament.

Anna Gryaznova told how the team thinks they performed at the competition.

“On the first day, we performed well with hoops. We caught everything and tried to do it emotionally. On the rest of the days, unfortunately, we did not succeed in everything, but we will try very hard and hope that at the next competitions we will show everything better and more emotionally, as Alina Kabaeva told us,” Anna said.

For Kira Pryn, this performance was her debut for the Sky Grace team. The gymnast shared what emotions she experienced before the performance.

“It was exciting, but I tried not to show that I was scared, and the girls supported me, calmed me down. It was easier for me to appear. And we performed from the heart,” the gymnast said.

Nelli Reutskaya also singled out the teams that the Academy group gymnasts liked.

“We really enjoy the Russian national team, the team from Omsk. They are very emotional, they have difficult programs. They know how to control everything accurately. If an apparatus flies the wrong way, they catch it,” she said.

The athletes took part in the international Evgeniya Cup tournament in Omsk for the first time.
