"We are very pleased." Evgenia Eliseeva about the results of the Beijing tournament

Evgenia Eliseeva, coach of the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace  Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy,  summed up the performance of Kristina Voitenko, Karolina Tarasova and Ksenia Savinova in China.

"Given that they came from Minsk straight to China without a break, they were great, they were quite collected. Not without mistakes, of course. There were losses, there were some disruptions in balance. In general, the girls did a great job. They did their best, I think. Some came without coaches, it is also important. Olesya and I took the girls out. For some this is very unusual. In general, the contact went well, the girls listened. They were focused, so we are very satisfied," the coach said.

She also noted the warm support of the Chinese fans.

"The audience is awesome. I really like that they have people who are fans of what they do. They watched how we put on makeup, how we warmed up, ran after the girls for autographs, and gave memorable gifts," Evgenia said. 

At the Zhong Ling Cup International Tournament in Beijing, Academy gymnasts won 10 gold medals. Ksenia Savinova won in all types of the program among juniors, Kristina Voitenko became the first in the all-around, hoop, ball and ribbon among juniors  and Karolina Tarasova took first place in clubs and second places in all other types and all-around.
