"We are incredibly happy." Group gymnasts of the Russian junior national team talks about the results of the Russian-Chinese Games

The group gymnasts of the Russian junior national team summed up the results of the Russian-Chinese Games.
Team gymnast Anna Gryaznova shared her impressions of the tournament:
"Of course, we are incredibly happy, because this is our first competition where we completed all the four appearances without any major mistakes. Well, and, of course, this is the great work of our coaches, our head coach Anna Pavlovna, and our personal coaches Daria Olegovna and Elena Vladimirovna. We, of course, want to appreciate them a lot. But this is our first time here, in Kaliningrad. And of course, we really like how everything has been arranged for us here. A very beautiful hall and wonderful fans that really encourage and support us."
She talked about communicating with Chinese gymnasts:
"We talked a little and every day we say hello and congratulate them on such a good result. We watched their performances and a little bit of their training. We really like their style, such Chinese one. Their ribbon routines are very interesting. We really like exactly the productions of their exercises, they are very interesting."
The gymnast also revealed the details of the training process:
"Alina Maratovna told us that, of course, we improved a lot at the second stage but she told us to do everything cleaner. And together with Daria Olegovna we worked on cleanliness. And, of course, on stability. We did three out of three run-throughs: but it's not as simple as just catching it, but doing everything cleanly, hitting every accent, otherwise the run-through won't count."
The athlete thanked everyone who helped them:
"We want to say many thanks to Alina Maratovna for her support, for believing in us, and for giving us very important feedback. We would like to say a big thank you to all the Academy staff for being with us. ХWe would like to say a big thank you to Ekaterina Konstantinovna. She is also present at our training sessions, also supports us, and also makes comments. And we would like to say many thanks to our psychologist Irina Valerievna. Even if something doesn’t work out for us during workouts, she’s always with us, always for us, and tries to unite our team and do every effort so that everything works out for us and we believe in ourselves. So we want to thank her, and we love her very much."
The group exercise gymnasts took first place in the all-around, team competition, and in the finals with five balls and five ribbons.
The Academy group exercise gymnasts are the current champions of the Russian junior championship. They live and train at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.
