“My level has gone up, thanks to the professionals, who helped me in Sochi!” Gretel Mendoza on her experience at the Academy training camp

Cuban gymnast Gretel Mendoza talked about how important the training at the Sky Grace Academy was in preparation for the World Cup in Tashkent.

“Of course, it helped us a lot. I felt that my level of training has gone up, thanks to the professionals who helped me in Sochi,” the gymnast said.

She added that the Academy training camp helped her make new acquaintances. “I made new friends while training in Sochi. There were gymnasts from other countries at the training camp. And at these competitions, I saw people whom I’ve met before,” said Mendoza.

After her performance, she said that she needs to work even harder. “I felt great at these competitions. But I think that I should demand even more of myself, ”Mendoza said.

The third stage of the 2023 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup was held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, on April 14-16.
