"Many elements were undeservedly forgotten." Vera Sesina about the Sky Grace rules

Multiple world champion and judge Vera Sesina was a lecturer at the seminar on the rules of judging of the Sky Grace International Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association.
She described in detail how the rule development process took place.
"We have introduced many elements into our rules that were undeservedly forgotten. Perhaps they were forgotten due to the fact that the evaluation of the elements was greatly reduced, and it was not profitable for gymnasts and coaches to insert these elements into their compositions. But we were guided by how the audience reacted to them. And when we compiled a table of element values, naturally, we relied on our feelings about how difficult or easy it was to complete this or that element," Vera said.
The judge also noted the importance of their development.
"And it’s also very good that our rules are being developed. That is, we improve them from competition to competition, change something or make some additions," she said.
A seminar for judges and coaches on judging by the Sky Grace International Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association was held at the Academy January 13 through 14.
