"I love the combination of exercise with music, with every beat." Isabella Rojas about choreography classes at the Academy

Work continues at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy. Cuban athletes Gretel Mendoza and Isabella Rojas, as well as Elvira Belyaeva from Gatchina, are training with the Academy's choreographer Ekaterina Belova.

Isabella Rojas talked about what the classes are like.

"I like ballet choreography very much. I like how various exercises are combined with music, with every measure. This is wonderful! In addition, our choreographer Katya, who is always smiling, is just a wonderful teacher. As a result, our lessons are  more joyful," she said. 

The gymnast admitted that she remembers the exercises that are given at the Academy and repeats them at home when she goes back to Cuba.

"At the school where we study in Cuba, there is also a choreography teacher who teaches us. I also train at home. Back in Cuba, I repeated the exercises that I was taught here", Isabella said.

Academy choreographer Ekaterina Belova, who trains athletes, is a former artist of the Igor Moiseev State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble.
