Miroslava Monina sums up the results of her performance at the St. Petersburg Championship

Academy gymnast Miroslava Monina from Penza, who performed out of competition at the St. Petersburg Championship, summed up the results of the tournament.

"Everything went more or less well, but there were a lot of shortcomings that need to be worked on. Irina Gusarova, Alina Protasova and Alina Gusarova helped me. We did all types every day," Miroslava said.

She talked about her new programs.

"I really like the new program with the new rules. It's more difficult than it was before. Because now artistry is assessed in a more difficult way than before. Now you need to think not only about technique, but also about the image in the exercise. I like the clubs and ribbon the most. The ribbon is delicate, and the clubs are cheerful and sharp," she said.

The gymnast also shared that she will be preparing for the upcoming Alina Kabaeva Grand Prix Champions Cup in Moscow.

"I’m going to get ready for the Grand Prix. My goal is to perform cleanly and clearly," Miroslava said.

Miroslava Monina performed out of competition at the St.Petersburg Championship, which took place from February 26 to March 1.
