"We dreamed of coming here!" Coach Anna Revkovskaya and her students talk about training at the Academy

Anna Revkovskaya, coach of the Vityaz athletic school from Chekhov, came to the training camp at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy along with two students — Veronika Kondrashina and Taisiya Revkovskaya.

"We wanted to come to your Academy for a long time, but somehow it didn’t work out: first there were competitions, then we had some events. And then Irina sent the regulations, we dropped everything, competed in competitions and immediately from the tournament came to your training camp. They really dreamed of coming here. When we arrived last night, they were already shouting: "This is great, our dream came true!" So, a huge thank you to Alina Kabaeva for making this athletic facility, and the fact that children, even from the regions, can come and study in such luxurious conditions," Anna said.

The gymnasts also shared their impressions of the Academy. Veronika admitted that training here was a dream of hers.

"I dreamed of getting here, and  I got here. And I would also like to meet Alina Kabaeva, the Olympic champion herself. I really like it here, I would like to train here in general.I want to learn how to do certain throws to complicate my exercises. I would like to learn how to do really difficult throws. If you really try and want to do it, then, of course, everything will work out," Veronika said.

And Taisiya talked about her plans for the training camp.

"We came to the hall, with such huge ceilings, six carpets in one room, and in general everything is cool. I would like to complicate the programs too, correct the elements, well, in general, learn the skill and work with a psychologist. I really wanted to, I actually dreamed of getting here. Well, I will try to learn everything new at this training camp in five days," Taisiya said.

The training camp, led by the 1996 Olympic bronze medalist and Academy coach Irina Dzyuba, will last until October 13.
