Mariia Borisova's biggest fan, her mother Olga, came to the St.Petersburg Championship. She shared her impressions of her daughter's performance at the competition in her hometown.

"We haven’t been to St. Petersburg for a long time, there were no competitions here at home. We watched a lot on TV, but these are completely different emotions. And here, when you see it live, you see the eyes, you see the emotions, it’s, of course, impressive," Olga said.

Olga also assessed Masha’s progress after having moved to the Academy.

"Masha changed completely since she joined Sky Grace. Here she became completely different, revealed her, I think, potential. Maybe this is not all. We will continue watching, but it is very, very impressive, very emotional. I can tell you a secret that after each performance we cry a little from joy, the whole family. And of course, we all give her our energy, and she gives us her emotions, her beauty. I am very grateful to Alina Kabaeva that she treats Masha with so much attention," the mom said.
