Mariia Borisova sums up the results of her performance at the St.Petersburg Championship

The Academy gymnasts returned to Sirius after performing at the St.Petersburg Championship.

The champion in the all-around competition, Masha Borisova, shared what it was like to participate in the tournament in her hometown.

"They really did greet me very warmly. There was support in the stands, and after the performances little girls came up to me, took autographs, said nice words. This certainly supported me, even when I went out on the clubs, I got goosebumps from such support, from the fact that they were shouting and clapping," Mariia said.

The athlete also shared details of the cultural program that took place after the tournament.

"Alina Kabaeva invited us to see Swan Lake at the Mariinsky Theater. We were very, very pleased, even so reverently. We also really liked the performance itself. Beautiful ballerinas. It was very impressive. In fact, it was my first time at the Mariinsky Theatre, and I really liked it," she said.
