Mariia Borisova thanks Sky Grace and Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva following the results of the BRICS Games
Zhemchuzhina Rhythmic Gymnastics Center gymnast Mariia Borisova, who competed at the BRICS Games as part of the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association team, thanked Sky Grace and Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva.
"I thank all the people, without whose help the successful performance would not take place. In the first instance, Alina Maratovna Kabaeva for the provided chance to perform at the Games and represent the Sky Grace team. Many thanks to her for workouts and pieces of advice that helped me when preparing for the event," Mariia said.
In her post, the athlete from St. Petersburg also noted that it was thanks to the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association that she got the opportunity to compete in Kazan.
"The BRICS Games were the greatest tournament in my career and when I got to know that there was an opportunity to qualify for them, then I endeavored to use my chance. My preparation took place on the base of the Sky Grace Academy. I managed to win two individual medals and help the Sky Grace team to win silver in the team competition in Kazan," Mariia shared.
Mariia joined the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association team to participate in the BRICS Games following the results of the international Sky Grace Grand Prix tournament, which was held in Minsk. The athlete from St. Petersburg won those competitions.
