Mariia Borisova's mother speaks about the gymnast's support, parental emotions and progress in the Cup of the Strongest final

In the stands at the Cup of the Strongest Cup final, Mariia Borisova was supported by her mother, Olga Vladimirovna.
She told about the importance of the tournament in Moscow and the genuine emotions of the parents:
"I'm not alone in the stands today. My cousin came to support our Masha. She lives in Moscow and came with her children. Her daughter, also named Masha, is also a rhythmic gymnast. It was very interesting, engaging, and exciting for her to watch the whole process, all the girls' performances, both group and individual. When I walked into the hall today, I saw that the stands were full. I was taking pictures of all the posters the girls had made. It's so touching. They draw them, they bring them here, and give them to Masha. She's very sensitive to them, too, and always treasures them. But the excitement is off the charts, because you realize this is the Cup of the Strongest, specifically for the strongest girls. And here you need complete concentration, you need to pull yourself together. But Mashenka and I managed to chat a little today before her performance. I even said, 'Mashenka, without words, God bless you!' She said, 'Mom, I can really feel it, I can feel your support and the strength you're giving me right now'."
Olga noted Masha's progress:
"I see her progress. I love that she never gives up. And even if there was a mistake today, she's still fully in her character, fully in her emotions. And she gives such beauty that sometimes tears of joy simply flow."
