Malika Timurshina and Liya Rodionova share their impressions of the All-Russian Young Gymnasts tournament

The Academy students, who took part in the All-Russian Young Gymnasts tournament in Ulyanovsk, shared their impressions of the competition and thanked the Sky Grace International Association for the opportunity to perform.
Malika Timurshina from Kazan spoke about the preparation and mood before the start, as well as about her image:
"This tournament is really cool. I really wanted to come here; I thought I wouldn't. Thank you so much to Alina Maratovna for giving me this opportunity. I felt like Alina Maratovna really believed in me and gave me a chance to compete. Thank you so much! I came up with the makeup myself to match this rainbow-colored leotard that I have. I came up with it myself, told the makeup artist, and she said, "Let's try it." The hairstyle was meant to match my Indian hoop and the Eastern ball, but it turned out to be suitable for all of the routines. Alina Maratovna used to say, 'Never give up, don't relax in the middle, always stay on your toes, even if you've lost, pull yourself together, finish it, do it with energy, and shine.' Thank you so much to the entire coaching staff and the entire Academy for the opportunities they provide us with these trips. It's a huge honor for me!"
Liya Rodionova from St. Petersburg shared which mascots help her and what it was like for her to meet gymnasts and coaches from her hometown:
"Before a performance, if Elina Khabirova is around, I always give the mascots to her. She helps me hold them. I was so happy to see them, the girls I hadn't seen in a long time, and my favorite coach, with whom I've trained since childhood. Thank you so much to Olga Minigalina, Evgeniya Eliseeva, all the choreographers and coaches who were with me, Alina Maratovna, and the entire Academy administration for this opportunity."
The competition was held from 1 to 2 November in Ulyanovsk.
