"Any competition is an experience that takes place of a lot of training." Elizaveta Zorkina talks about the Dynamo-Children of Russia tournament

Coach Elizaveta Zorkina summarized the performances of Academy gymnasts Evelina Tandalova from the Tyumen Region, Diana Kotlovskaya and Liya Rodionova from St. Petersburg, and Elizaveta Geraskina from Moscow at the interregional Dynamo for the Children of Russia competition:
"There were some shortcomings and mistakes, but we were able to correct a lot from previous competitions and create something more confident and complex. I always told them to be at one with the apparatus, with their music. They did everything consistently, clearly, confidently, and boldly. Any competition is a huge experience that replaces a lot of training, and you need to perform as often as possible. It's an invaluable experience to show yourself and perform, and to complicate things, improve things, and discover your weaknesses."
Evelina Tandalova from the Tyumen Region won the all-around championship in the first-category routine among gymnasts born in 2013-2014. Diana Kotlovskaya from St. Petersburg took second place, and another gymnast from St. Petersburg, Liya Rodionova, took bronze.
Elizaveta Geraskina from Moscow took first place in the all-around among gymnasts born in 2011-2012 in the Candidate Master of Sports program. She is coached by Elizaveta Chernova and Elizaveta Zorkina.
