"Any gymnast can participate absolutely free of charge!" Marina Specht about the Sky Grace International Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association tournament
The executive director of the Sky Grace International Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association and chief judge of the interregional tournaments of the Far Eastern Federal District and Siberian Federal District in Novosibirsk, Marina Specht spoke about the main features of the competitions under the auspices of the organization.
"It was our dear, favorite Alina Kabaeva, who was the initiator. She became the initiator of such a huge amount of work that we tried to carry out. We brought back to life the elements that she had performed and gave them a new action. As I see that many gymnasts are already using this, they are very interested in it. And many coaches note that these are very convenient, comfortable rules," Marina said.
She also emphasized that all interested gymnasts, including those from foreign countries can take part in the competition.
"The competition regulations state that the competition can be attended by gymnasts not only from the regions of our country, but that also foreign athletes can come. They also fully participate in competitions, also participate in the selection process and can then get into the competitions that will be held in Sochi in April. Our competitions are included in the Minister of Sports unified calendar. And these competitions take place without an entry fee for the participants. That is, any gymnast who has the opportunity to come here can take part in competitions absolutely free of charge," she said.
Interregional competitions of the Far Eastern Federal District and Siberian Federal District, which take place in Novosibirsk from March 18 to 20, are held by the Sky Grace International Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association, whose president is Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva.
