And somehow, a year before the Olympics, I managed to make the senior team, and then qualify for the Olympic Games. But, unfortunately, we didn't go. Last year I finished second at the European Championships, and this year I won."</blockquote>Danil Lavrentyev noted his father's role in his development:&nbsp;<blockquote>"Of course, he helped me a lot. He made me train almost my entire childhood. I was a lazy person. The second national gymnastics tournament named after Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva was held in the Republic of Congo.&nbsp;Ambassador of the Russian Federation Ilyas Iskandarov, President of the Gymnastics Federation of the Republic of Congo Claudine Noël Miakassissa, representatives of the Ministry of Sports and the Mayor’s Office of Brazzaville were in the stands. The initiative to hold the tournament belongs to the Congolese side.The Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy supports gymnasts from the Republic of Congo. Athletes from this country came to the training camp three times, with all expenses covered by the Academy. Furthermore, the Congolese gymnasts participated in the Alina Festival in 2024.

Anna and Yuri Nekrasov, along with their sons Kirill and Vladimir, participated in the Champions Family training session and then shared their impressions:&nbsp;<blockquote>"This is our first time at a judo festival like this. We love the friendly atmosphere created by the Martial Arts Academy. Attending this festival brings us together, our family, again and again. Overall, we really like it here."</blockquote>Mom Anna Nekrasova explained why they chose exactly the Martial Arts Academy:&nbsp;<blockquote>"We wanted to attend the Martial Arts Academy for a long time. Our daughter goes to the Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy. While browsing the website, we discovered that the selection would be soon. But Kiryusha was still little, so we waited until he grew up a bit. We came to the selection and he passed, and we're very happy about that."</blockquote>The family also noted the role of sports in their life:&nbsp;<blockquote>"Sport is very disciplined, and that's the main thing we like about sport. We've become disciplined ourselves. We get up early, and we train from morning until night. They also train at home, in a playful way. Because, for example, these centers, these Academies, they instill a love for sport. Here, it’s very approachable, the sport is very inviting so the kids enjoy coming here!"</blockquote>

Children compete against each other in a friendly atmosphere, and the younger kids have fun competitions. There will also be a traditional lecture on judo. This is also an interesting and educational program, and there will also be experts in child psychology. They will explore the different personalities of children and how they influence their athletic performance."&nbsp;</blockquote>&nbsp;Organizer Ivan Vorobyov also explained in detail, what traditions have been preserved at the family festival:<blockquote>"Of course, it's to instill in children a love for the sport, to motivate them to pursue judo both professionally and as a hobby, so that they'll be involved in this field for their entire lives, so to speak. To achieve this, we invite renowned leading athletes from around the country. These are newly crowned world and European champions. It's really nice to meet every, say, six months, every year. About 80% of the same kids come, and you can see how they're growing. You see that someone came back with a yellow belt, now with an orange. Over the past six months, some have grown, some have improved technically, and it's clear they're making progress."&nbsp;</blockquote>Coach and world championships medalist Mikhail Pulyaev also highlighted the progress of the participants:&nbsp;<blockquote>"Those who wrestle well are enough, they come all the time. They're improving in technical skills. Let's hope they stay motivated until the junior national team and make our team! Those who made the national team generally have no problems with motivation; they're doing just fine."</blockquote>

The Sky Grace International Association will represent a separate team in the rhythmic gymnastics tournament at the III CIS Games, which will be held in Azerbaijan.As at the 2024 BRICS Games, the team includes representatives from several countries. In the individual program, Sky Grace will feature Russians Karolina Tarasova and Eva Chevtaeva, Belarusian gymnasts Ksenia Perepelitsa and Margarita Zhurovich, as well as Sabrina Zaribboeva and Komila Yusupova from Uzbekistan, Amina Keliskhan and Kausar Meyrambekkyzy from Kazakhstan, and Lizabeth Godales Borjas from Cuba.In the group exercises, the Association will be represented by the Academy group gymnasts, as well as teams from Belarus, Uzbekistan, and Cuba.The rhythmic gymnastics competition will be held from October 4-8.
