"Culture, sports, art, dance — they're all very closely connected." Ramil Mehdiyev talks about the Big and Small project

Russia’s Honored Artist and soloist with the Igor Moiseyev Ensemble, Ramil Mehdiyev, joined the jury of the Big and Small television project, where he judged the performances of the Academy students.
In an interview, the artist noted the close connection between various forms of art and sport:
"Fairly recently, about three years ago, we started filming mixed sports. And it was precisely in this mixed sport where rhythmic gymnastics or aesthetic gymnastics ended up. Of course, it is a sport, but it is also incredibly close to art. Culture, sports, art, and dance are all very tightly knit."
The artist is confident that gymnastics is becoming increasingly artistic:
"Gymnastics is becoming more and more an art, acting skills are added, and very interesting choreographic combinations are added."
Ramil Mehdiyev also shared his experience participating in the Alina festival:
"We participated in the Alina festival. Even I personally spun six or seven pirouettes on the gymnastics floor."
