Ksenia Evdokimova and Margarita Zhurovich sum up the results of the Crystal Rose international tournament

Medalists Ksenia Evdokimova and Margarita Zhurovich summed up the results of the Crystal Rose international tournament.
Ksenia shared her emotions about performing in front of the home crowd:
"This is very important because these are our home competitions. Everyone comes to visit us, and we want to show what we are capable of and that we have been working so hard with our coaches for a long time. Everything comes with experience. The more often you perform, the easier it gets to handle the nerves and step onto the carpet more focused."
She told me about her talisman:
"I have my little toy. I just kiss it for good luck and say, 'You'll do everything, you know how to do everything, stay calm!' And then I go out there. And it seems to work."

Margarita noted her favorite starting position in the exercise:
"I really like the beginning of my ball routine. I start like this, squeezing the ball between my elbows. I remember when I was learning it, my arms used to hurt a lot. But now it’s fine. And I think it looks very unique, I haven't seen anyone else doing that yet."
She also told what is unusual happening with the athletes during choreography classes:
"I believe that choreography is, of course, very important. Because it still defines your turnout, your stretched legs, stretched arms, and artistry. And right now, we have very unique choreography classes. We don't practice to classical music, but to different interesting tracks. For example, we do tendu to Billie Eilish, jeté to Michael Jackson, and so on. And we have a strictly choreographic part there, as well as a dance part. This helps us open up more and train our artistry even during choreography sessions."
Ksenia won second place in the all-around, in the ball and clubs. Margarita took third place in the all-around, second with the hoop and ribbon, and first with the clubs.
