"When I do risks, the audience supports me more." Milena Schenyatskaya talks about her motivation to perform difficult elements

Milena Schenyatskaya won gold in the all-around interregional Sky Grace Cup tournament in the Southern Federal District in the Masters of Sports program.

The athlete shared what motivates her to perform difficult elements.

"In general, I really like doing risks. When I do difficult things in my program, I get excited. And in general, when I do risks, the audience supports me more, there is a “wow” effect after the performance, and I probably associate myself with this. I did a very good job with the hoop at this competition. I developed a new skill. We inserted it literally a couple of days before the competition. Of course, I was worried, but everything worked out," Milena said.

Milena also shared what she likes about the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association rules.

"The Sky Grace rules are different, when it comes to elements, there are also decorations, for which you can also score tenth points. I really like these rules for combined elements, it is very interesting to follow them," the gymnast said.

The gymnast also answered a question about what she likes to do in her free time.

"In everyday life, I am actually quite a versatile person. I don’t like to sit in one place, I like to be constantly doing something. I just recently got my license, so now in my free time I like to drive," she shared.
