Another team that received the opportunity to compete in the first stage of the Cup of the Strongest through a Sky Grace International Association quota was the group gymnast team from Karelia.

The gymnasts told about their goals at the competitions in Kazan and program images:

"When we found out we were going to the Cup of the Strongest, we were all so excited. It was a fantastic experience! During our preparation, we worked on our artistic approach, as it's very important under the new rules. The balls are done to a tango. It's the music of passion and love, so we try to convey that image. And the hoops are classic, austere, and a little chaotic. Our goal for this tournament is to perform well, to please our coach, to demonstrate what we've been working on."
