"China seems like something incredible." Anastasia Salos talks about the invitation to the Zhong Ling Cup tournament as a guest of honor

Belarusian gymnast Anastasia Salos visited Beijing together with the Academy athletes. She shared her impressions of the trip to China for the Zhong Ling Cup international tournament, where she was invited as an honored guest.

"China seems to be something incredible. In general, everything is different from our countries, from Russia and Belarus. It’s still a different culture, unknown to us. It was interesting to learn something new about China, about how people used to live here, how people live here now. The very fact that we were in China is something incredible, because China is far from us and it is also not easy to fly here. But we are here and happy about this," the gymnast said.

At the Zhong Ling Cup tournament, guests from Belarus took part in presenting the awards for the gymnasts, and also performed at a gala show. After that, Anastasia Salos and Alina Harnasko will hold a series of master classes.

"We will pass on our skills to Chinese children. We saw very young children. What we saw is that someone is not bad, someone else needs to try, work harder. In any case, gymnastics is developing, which is good," she said.

The Zhong Ling Cup International Tournament was held in Beijing on August 10-13.
