Karolina Tarasova summed up the results of the Cup of the Strongest Athletes of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus

After her performance at the Cup of the Strongest Athletes of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus tournament, Karolina Tarasova thanked the Academy team and Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva for their help in preparation:

"I am very happy that I did the way I wanted to do it; I performed well in the finals with clubs and in the all-around. Basically, I performed well at this competition. I am very grateful to the entire Sky Grace team. She told me a lot of good advice that helped me perform well. She said that I need not to worry. She told me that I should just perform from the bottom of my heart in the finals." 

The gymnast told how training in Novogorsk helped her before the start of the Cup of the Strongest Athletes of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus tournament:

"It took us a very long time to prepare. We went from China to Novogorsk. I had two assessment training sessions, and I completed them very well. Tatiana Sergaeva and our judges told us a lot of comments. They judged us very rigorously so that we knew all the mistakes, where to complete turns, for artistry, sometimes for the rhythm and effects. We've fixed them all."

In addition, Karolina shared that gymnast Nicole Rimarachin Diaz gave her a new mascot:

"It's a mascot named Mickey. Nikol gave it to me. And here's another bracelet. Also for good luck. I've decided this will be my new mascot. I really like it very much."

At the competition, Karolina became the second in the exercise with clubs. Her coach is Evgenia Eliseeva, and her choreographer is Elena Egorova.
