How did the second stage of try-outs for free early development groups go? The parents of the young gymnast tell us

Elza Dogorova's parents, Andrei and Snezhana, shared their impressions of the second stage of the screening process for preschoolers for free early development groups at the Academy.

The gymnast's father shared what emotions the family experienced after successfully completing the first stage.

"At the first stage we were very concerned. She is very little, she recently turned 3 years old. And we were worried that we wouldn’t pass because of her age. And then suddenly I answered the phone and we were invited to the second one. At first we were a little shocked and didn’t even hope, but then they called us, and we are very happy about it," he said.

And the mother of the young athlete shared how the selection went.

"She told me that they helped her do her favorite exercise,  the ring, butterfly, fold. She smiled and was very happy. Now, of course, it’s very exciting. We don’t know whether she will be accepted or not, but I am sure that she will succeed, because she is very persistent in spite of her age," Snezhana said.

The girl's father spoke of the opportunity for his young daughter to train at the Academy.

"We are very glad that there is an opportunity to take the child to such a wonderful place," Andrei said.

The second stage of the preschool girls selection into the free early development groups was held with the participation of Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva.
