How is the second stage of group selection going at the Academy? Coach Viktoria Stadnikova tells all

The gymnasts and coaches who came to the Academy from different Russian regions have already begun active work. They received an invitation to go through the second in-person stage of the selection process, based on the results of the video review.

After the class, coach Viktoria Stadnikova from Moscow, who brought students Evelina Gorbacheva and Polina Kembel to Sirius, spoke about the selection process.

"We train at the Wings of the Soviets Olympic Reserve Sports Schoolю One girl is trained by my mother, Natalya Stadnikova, and the other by Svetlana Klimenko. The gymnasts sent in the videos, and then we received an invitation and came here. There will be a selection for group exercises, and they are also looking for a reserve for this group," Viktoria said.

The coach also talked about the Academy’s conditions.

"I really like everything here, I would like to note the quality of the hall. I’m just glad to be here, because this place is truly legendary," she said.

The costs of the gymnasts’ tickets, accommodation and food has been paid for by the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.
