How is the educational process organized for the youngest Academy athletes? Tatyana Ryupina shares her thoughts

Senior methodologist of the Talent and Success educational foundation, Tatyana Ryupina told us how the educational process is organized for the youngest athletes at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.

"Both the Rhythmic Gymnastic Academy and the Martial Arts Academy have a completely right organization process of children's physical development. Because there are a lot of active games, when there is a certain plot, when there is a certain game content that allows children to learn the basic elements that will be useful to them in the future, when they will be seriously and professionally involved in sports.  The educational process is organized here in the absolutely the right way, when there is a competent combination of physical activity and children’s discovery of new knowledge, including a foreign language," she said.

The specialist also explained the advantages of mixed educational gender groups.

"It is absolutely right when the groups are mixed, that is, when both girls and boys study together. Sport is, first of all, about bringing people together. That is, I would say that there is a huge educational potential here. It does not depend on the type of sport, it does not depend on whether they are girls or boys, or if  there are some developmental issues. Sport is, first of all, friendship and solidarity. And we believe that it is precisely this organized educational process that will lead to the development of a harmonious and comprehensively developed and educated people," Tatyana said.

The idea of combining groups of boys and girls for training belongs to Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva.
