How did Sky Grace help athletes from other countries perform at the BRICS Games? Daria Grokhotova talks about it

The International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association is another platform for rhythmic gymnastics development in the world, and it has given talented gymnasts from different countries a chance to qualify for the BRICS Games.
Among these athletes was Daria Grokhotova from Belarus, who told us that she was very glad to become part of Sky Grace.
"I am so happy! Many thanks to Alina Kabaeva for an opportunity like this. This is because I did not qualify for my Belarusian team and I was invited to the Sky Grace team. I think I made a decent representation. I hope nobody was disappointed with me and I did not let anybody down. Overall, many thanks," Daria said.
She shared how Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva helped her prepare for her performance.
"She gave hints. Generally, I failed to make the turn to the back. I had the leg not in the position or something else. She supported, made comments. I listened and tried to correct on the floor this time, showing what I was told," she said.
The gymnast also noted that the rules of the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association are more complex than the international ones under which the competitions are held.
"It is more difficult under the Sky Grace rules, more elements are there. As a matter of fact, I like to perform under both rules. This is because difficult elements are decently rated in the Sky Grace, that is, their values in FIG rules will then be less. And you show your data in the Sky Grace, everything you are able to do," Daria said.
She also pointed out the gymnasts who she remembered the most as part of the International Association team.
"I like Kristina Voitenko very much. She is doing just cool elements, almost breathtaking. Ksenia Savinova also is very beautiful. All the girls are emotional, it’s just cool," she said.
Daria Grokhotova from Belarus helped the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association team win silver in the team championship and reached two finals of individual events.
