Interview with Sky Grace Cup champions in federal districts

Champions of Central, Ural, Northwestern and North Caucasian Federal Districts among masters of sports answered questions about their programs, favorite gymnasts and competition after the end of the Sky Grace Cup interregional competition.

Elizaveta Bleklova from the Ivanovo Region told us about her image at the Sky Grace Cup:

"I performed to this music at the Alina festival, and my coach and I decided to take it, because it suited me very well. We created an image of India. It is very important to show the image, because this is the meaning of rhythmic gymnastics. To put on a show on the floor, to give your whole soul to the composition so that the audience will remember you."

Anna Petunina from the Chelyabinsk Region noted the atmosphere of the competition and shared her plans for the next workouts:

"I was preparing, going to double training sessions and worried, of course. I came here and it became easier somehow. The atmosphere here is different. I think we will complicate the program, complicate the elements, remove some skills, and introduce more promising and, to some extent, even more convenient skills."

Elizaveta Vysochkina from the Republic of Karelia named the gymnasts she liked:

"I really like Masha Borisova, she has wonderful programs. Polina Kukushkina, she is very artistic, especially her clubs, I remember them very well. Angelina Ipatova. I really like all the girls."

Eleonora Kamshilova from the Republic of North Ossetia — Alania highlighted Sky Grace gymnasts in her turn and told about her clubs exercise:

"Of course, I watched the leaders. I really like Mariia Borisova. Her compositions are very well-choreographed. And, of course, the performance is top-notch. I also watched all the Sky Grace girls, they already have their own style of performance traced now, it is also very interesting to watch the development. I have clubs to ethnic music, Ossetian lezginka. I came up with it myself. We also added drums to make more dynamic changes, as required by the new rules now."
