"I just wanted to go out, get high and make a good performance." Ksenia Savinova talks about the European Championship

The silver medalist of the European Championship, Ksenia Savinova, told what helped her to get ready and tune in to the performances:

"The support from the coaches, from Alina Maratovna, who called me, set me up for a good performance, which helped me go out and perform for the audience and for myself."

Ksyusha also noted the importance of participating in the European Championship under the Russian flag and shared her impressions of the fans' support:

"It's a joy because we were allowed to perform with the flag and the anthem. And the responsibility that the whole country is rooting for you. And I just wanted to go, enjoy the moment and do good. Before going to the carpet, of course, I heard people shouting, which was encouraging, and I breathed out and appeared with a bright heart to perform well."

The gymnast thanked everyone who helped her in her training:

"There's a lot to work on. First of all, I had drawbacks in my clubs, and there was a mistake in the team competition. I will work harder. And I need to work out risks in the hoop. This is not only my work, but also the work of coaches, doctors, all choreographers and judges who helped me get to these competitions and trained me. Alina Maratovna also came, trained with us for a whole week and gave us tips that helped a lot during the competition."

Ksenia Savinova came in second in the hoop finals at the European Championships in Bulgaria.
