"I wanted to please the audience, myself, Alina Maratovna, and the coaches." Eva Kononova talks about the performance at the Russian Cup

Eva Kononova, the silver medalist of the Russian Cup from the Tyumen region, shared her emotions from her performances in Kazan and the details of her preparation:

"I have only positive emotions; I'm incredibly happy. It's the end of the season, and it's been quite a good one. We prepared diligently, scoring two clean types every day for each event. And we worked and worked to make sure everything came together.  Maybe, of course, not everything worked out, but we'll keep working. I think my hoop routine was my best. And when I perform the ball routine, it's so soulful, and I really enjoy the music; I enjoy performing the ball routine. Of course, each routine is great in its own way. I feel something in each routine, and I like them all. Of course, I was nervous, but I wanted to show off our hard work, to show off, to please the audience, myself, Alina Maratovna, and the coaches."

The gymnast also thanked everyone who worked with her:

"Thank you so much to the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy! A huge thank you to Alina Maratovna, all my coaches, everyone who helped, and the audience. I'm incredibly happy to represent the Sky Grace International Association."

Eva's coaches are Evgeniya Eliseeva and Olga Minigalina, and her choreographer is Elena Egorova. She has been training at the Academy since June of this year.
